'Political Still Life with Dysplastic Birth'

This Diptych is about the misplaced idealism of politics and war.  It is a metaphor for sadness, isolation, abandonment and greed.  The chair taken away from its natural state, and the mine that has since been devoured then abandoned, gives the feeling of utter loss and failure.
This image is about the 'abnormality' of politics.

'A Childs Foot and the German Officers Grave'

The winner of the Derby Open 2009, this image shows the obvious outcome of war, being WW1 or the recent wars that are raging still to this day. It is an observation of sorts into the mindless assaults of the innocents caught up in this political game.

'Critical Mass in State of Flux'

This large scale painting using schlag leaf and gunpowder, is another image that depicts the collision and conflict of war, that being civil or overwise. It shows the energy of the idealism that moves the two opposing sides into this critical mass of states.

'Memories of Biblical Metamorphosis'

This work displays a conflict or collision of idealism/thoughts.  Generated by the people of the Middle East, this 'energy' painting depicts the actions and ideals of both the young and the old.

'Landscape with Crying Formation'

Exhibited at the Tarpey Gallery, Castle Donington, and WINNER of the Derby Quad Artist Portfolio Review.  This work represents in Diptych form, the unresolved idealism of an argument that had presented itself from both sides of the water.
